Integron is a SaaS platform built for smart home and building automation integrators. Everything they need to run the business sits in one place: floor plan design, specification, quoting, project delivery, inventory and analytics. We work with customers in India as well as across Europe.

About the role

We are looking for someone to take ownership of the design of the product. Not one module, the entire interface.

Do note that the problems here are on the denser side. There is a drawing canvas where users place devices on a floor plan. There is a matrix that records what every room in a building is supposed to do. There are quoting screens that have to handle a few hundred line items and still remain usable. And there is a field app that a technician opens with one hand while standing at a site.

Apart from the interface, you will also be creating the visual assets the product runs on. Our icons, diagrams and illustrations, drawn properly as SVG rather than picked up from some stock set.

Responsibilities

Design screens and flows across web and mobile.

Build and maintain our design system along with the icon set.

Create SVG icons, diagrams and illustrations for the product, the website and our decks.





Work closely with the engineering team right through to release. We would like you to be comfortable enough in React to go in and fix spacing, states or a component yourself.

Sit in on customer calls and bring back whatever you learn into the product.

Requirements

2 to 4 years of experience designing software products, with a portfolio showing screens that people actually use day to day.

Good command over information dense interfaces. Tables, forms, dashboards, multi step flows. If you have worked on anything involving a canvas or a configurator, kindly highlight the same.

Robust Figma skills, with components and variants set up properly.

Vector illustration and icon design, in Illustrator, Figma or similar. We would like to see an icon set you have drawn yourself.

Working knowledge of front end. HTML and CSS confidently, and enough React to read a component and make changes.

Clear written English, since part of our team and several of our customers are in Europe.

Good to have

React Native, motion design, prototyping.
