Job Summary

We are looking for Manager – Procurement to manage end-to-end procurement activities, with a strong focus on vendor sourcing, vendor development, raw material procurement, supplier relationship management, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the packaging, paper, plastic, raw materials, paper mills, or packaging trading ecosystem,



along with an established supplier network and strong negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify, evaluate, source, and onboard new suppliers based on quality, cost, capacity, reliability, and delivery requirements.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.

· Build and strengthen the vendor base through vendor development and alternate supplier identification.

· Source raw materials from paper mills, paper manufacturers, importers, distributors, traders, plastic manufacturers, biopolymer suppliers, and other relevant sources.

· Develop supplier relationships for paper, biopolymers, plastics, and other raw materials required for in-house manufacturing.

· Leverage an existing network across the paper, packaging, plastic, and raw material ecosystem to ensure competitive sourcing.

· Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit terms, lead times, delivery schedules, quality requirements, and other commercial terms.

· Ensure timely availability of materials to support production and business requirements.

· Plan and manage inventory levels to avoid stock-outs, excess inventory, and supply disruptions.

· Coordinate closely with Operations, Production, Warehouse, Finance, and other relevant functions for procurement planning and material availability.

· Track purchase orders, supplier commitments, lead times, deliveries, and pending requirements.

· Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness, and reliability.

· Identify opportunities for cost optimization,



alternate sourcing, supplier consolidation, and improved commercial terms.

· Track market trends, raw material pricing, availability, and potential supply risks.

· Resolve supplier-related issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and service.

· Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing information, commercial terms, and procurement documentation.

· Ensure procurement decisions are aligned with operational requirements, quality standards, sustainability objectives, and business priorities.

· Be flexible to support operational and plant requirements, including extended working hours or shifts when required.

Required Skills & Experience

· 5–6 years of experience in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / Supply Chain.

· Robust experience in vendor sourcing and vendor development.

· Prior experience in packaging, paper, plastic, paper mills, packaging trading, or raw material procurement preferred.

· Strong supplier network across paper, packaging, plastic, biopolymer, or related raw materials.

· Strong negotiation and commercial management skills.

· Experience in inventory planning and management.

· Strong understanding of supplier evaluation and development.

· Ability to identify alternate suppliers and manage supply risks.

· Robust analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

· Ability to work closely with Operations, Production, Warehouse, and Finance teams.

· Hindi and English preferred; Kannada will be an added advantage.

· Willingness to work flexibly based on business and operational requirements.
