Role Overview The Principal will be the academic and administrative head of the institution, responsible for the overall management, development, and effective functioning of the school. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, sound academic knowledge, and the energy and commitment required to build and lead a progressive educational institution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Leadership

- Lead the academic vision, planning, and implementation of the CBSE curriculum.
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, assessment, and student performance.
- Introduce innovative, student-centred teaching practices and appropriate educational technologies.
- Monitor lesson planning, classroom instruction, academic progress, and learning outcomes.
- Promote holistic development through academics, sports, arts, communication, technology, and life skills.

2. School Administration and Operations

- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the school and ensure smooth administrative operations.
- Establish effective systems, policies, procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE guidelines, school policies, and applicable educational regulations.
- Maintain a safe, disciplined, organised, and student-friendly campus.




- Coordinate with the management on institutional planning, development, and performance.

3. Staff Management and Development

- Lead, motivate, mentor, and supervise teachers and non-teaching staff.
- Support teacher recruitment, induction, training, and professional development.
- Conduct performance reviews and promote accountability and teamwork.
- Build a positive, collaborative, and high-performance working culture.
- Identify training needs and encourage continuous professional improvement.

4. Student Welfare and Discipline

- Establish clear standards for student behaviour, attendance, and discipline.
- Promote emotional well-being, inclusion, student safety, and positive relationships.
- Encourage leadership, creativity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
- Ensure effective systems for addressing student concerns and supporting individual learning needs.

5. Parent Relations and Community Engagement

- Build strong, transparent, and skilled relationships with parents.
- Address parent concerns promptly and constructively.
- Represent the school at meetings, events, and community engagements.
- Work closely with the admissions team to communicate the school's educational philosophy and standards.

6. Institutional Growth and Development

- Work closely with the management to establish the school's identity, reputation, and long-term vision.
- Contribute to admissions growth, parent satisfaction, and student retention.
- Implement quality-improvement initiatives and monitor institutional performance.
- Encourage the integration of technology, experiential learning, and international educational practices.
- Help establish Evercrest International School as a trusted and respected educational institution.

Eligibility and Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Education or a relevant academic discipline.
- A B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
- Substantial experience in school education, preferably in a senior academic leadership or school administration role.
- Experience as a Principal, Vice Principal,



Head of School, or senior academic coordinator will be an advantage.
- A strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum, academic planning, school administration, and educational regulations.
- Excellent English communication, interpersonal, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- A demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage institutional responsibilities, and drive academic improvement.
