Key Responsibilities
Own the platform roadmap, governance principles and operating model for Power Platform migration and post-migration run.
- Arbitrate decisions across build, run, architecture and community when priorities or constraints conflict.
- Ensure platform foundation covers templates, connectors, DLP, environments, capacity, error handling, licensing and standards.
- Review risks and trade-offs related to capacity, licensing, supportability and governance exceptions.
- Sponsor and maintain the relationship between ARB decisions, backlog priorities and run support capacity.
- Ensure run platform resources have the authority, process and information required to support applications.
- Coordinate with IT leadership on platform risks, resourcing, roadmap and operating model maturity.
- Define and review KPIs for intake throughput, delivery, quality, run stability and compliance.
- Support supplier/resource onboarding and offboarding expectations where external profiles are used.
- Ensure ownership and accountability are clear across citizen development, central build and run support.
Technical Requirements
- 8+ Years of Experience with Robust understanding of Power Platform capabilities, governance levers and operational model. • Familiarity with DLP, connectors, environments, ALM, CoE Starter Kit, licensing and capacity management. • Ability to understand architecture and run implications well enough to sponsor decisions. • Experience owning enterprise platforms, product/platform roadmaps or governance models.
Strategic Skills • Acts as the integrator between business speed and IT control. • Makes governance decisions explicit and operationally enforceable. • Keeps platform evolution aligned with migration deadlines and post-migration sustainability. Expected Deliverables & Artifacts • Platform roadmap and governance priorities • Operating model decision log • KPI and risk dashboard inputs • Run/build alignment decisions • Governance exception decisions • Platform ownership and accountability matrix
Governance Touchpoints • Run platform: accountable counterpart for the run resources. • ARB: decision escalation and sponsorship for foundation topics. • Build PO / Backlog Manager: aligns priorities and capacity with platform constraints. • Community: ensures enablement content reflects approved platform patterns.
Success Criteria • Build and run priorities are aligned rather than competing. • Governance decisions are clear, documented and actionable. • Platform risks are managed at the right decision level. • The platform can scale beyond migration without relying on informal ownership.
Operating Constraints • All activities and artefacts are to be produced within Syensqo environments and remain Syensqo property. • No Syensqo data or process information should be exported outside approved Syensqo tenants. • When AI support is used, it must use Syensqo-approved technology stack and respect data handling constraints. • Remote working is acceptable where onboarding, access and quality expectations are met.
