- Robust experience in Power BI report development, migration, replication and modernization, including assessment of existing reports and mapping them to the target Power BI/Fabric architecture.
- Good understanding of enterprise reporting standards, BI performance optimization, security/RLS and deployment practices.
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including dimensional modelling, fact and dimension tables, star/snowflake schemas and enterprise data models.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, including data extraction, transformation, data validation, data loading and troubleshooting of data pipelines.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms / modern data architectures, preferably Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks or equivalent technologies.
- Ability to work across both BI/reporting and data engineering activities, allowing the resource to transition into Data Warehouse/ETL-related work as the reporting requirements evolve.
- Exposure in Power BI Paginated Reports / SSRS (Power BI Report Builder), including parameterized reports, complex tabular layouts, expressions, drill-through and pixel-perfect reporting.
