Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with 5–8 years of experience in business intelligence and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL, along with experience in developing dashboards, data modelling, report performance optimization, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports and interactive dashboards based on business requirements.
- Design data models and create DAX measures to generate meaningful business insights.
- Extract, transform, and visualize data from SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, and other data sources.
- Perform report enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements.
- Manage Power BI Service and Power BI Report Server deployments, including report publishing and scheduled refresh monitoring.
- Handle BAU support tickets, resolve reporting issues independently, and escalate complex issues when required.
- Collaborate with data engineers to support end-to-end data pipelines and reporting solutions.
- Optimize report performance, usability, data accuracy, and adherence to governance standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, data definitions, and reporting artefacts.




- Identify unused or redundant reports and contribute to report rationalization initiatives.

Required Technical Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in Power BI or BI reporting tools.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M).
- Good knowledge of SQL and data querying.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design best practices.
- Experience working with structured data and enterprise reporting environments.
- Knowledge of data modelling concepts, including relationships and star schema.

Good to Have
- Experience with Power BI Report Server or similar enterprise BI platforms.
- Understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
- Awareness of data governance, data quality, and data cataloguing practices.
- Experience in report performance tuning and production support.
