Role Description The Planning Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing project plans for renewable energy assets, ensuring timelines, resources, and budgets are effectively aligned. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed project schedules, tracking progress, analyzing risks and constraints, and updating stakeholders with accurate reports and forecasts. The role involves close collaboration with design, procurement, finance, and operations teams to align planning with technical and commercial requirements.

The Planning





Engineer will also support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and proposing data-driven solutions. This is a full time, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Experience with project planning and scheduling tools, and the ability to develop and manage detailed project timelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating project risks, resource requirements, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of renewable energy projects or infrastructure development, including basic understanding of design, procurement, and operations workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate project status clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other planning or reporting software; familiarity with project management methodologies is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, or related field); relevant experience in project planning or project management is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a clean energy and sustainability-focused context.
