Role Description The Placement Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Bhawanipur Global Campus in Kolkata. The role involves coordinating and managing campus placement activities, including building and maintaining relationships with recruiters, organizing placement drives, and ensuring effective communication between students, faculty, and industry partners.

The Placement

Officer will guide learners through career counseling sessions, resume-building workshops, interview preparation, and skill-development initiatives to enhance employability. Day-to-day tasks include scheduling training programs, tracking placement data, preparing reports,



collaborating with academic departments for industry integration, and promoting opportunities across sectors. The role also requires proactive engagement with emerging industry trends to align placement strategies with current market needs.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in campus placement, including coordinating recruitment drives and managing employer relationships.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with learners, recruiters, and internal stakeholders, with the ability to present and facilitate sessions.
- Experience in career counseling and learner guidance, including helping students identify career paths and prepare for interviews.
- Background in training and development, with the ability to plan and deliver employability and soft-skills workshops.
- Understanding of the education sector and academic processes, preferably within higher education or professional programs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data management for maintaining placement records and generating reports.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with corporate and institutional partners.
- Ability to work collaboratively on campus, handle multiple initiatives simultaneously, and meet timelines.
- Prior experience in a placement, corporate relations, or talent acquisition role is highly desirable.
