S & S Engineers is looking for a detail-oriented Estimation & Billing Engineer with experience in MEP contracting projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing project estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, quotations, client billing and subcontractor billing, ensuring accuracy in cost estimation and timely submission of bills.

Estimation & Tendering

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and rate analysis for MEP projects.
- Study drawings, specifications, tender documents and scope of work.
- Perform quantity take-offs for electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting works.
- Prepare material, labour and installation cost calculations.
- Obtain and compare vendor quotations for materials and equipment.
- Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals and budget estimates.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Project teams to verify material rates and project costs.

Billing & Quantity Surveying

- Prepare client running account (RA) bills, interim bills and final bills.
- Prepare subcontractor bills and verify quantities against actual site measurements.
- Prepare measurement sheets, BOQs and reconciliation statements.
- Track work completed against BOQ quantities and approved variations.
- Prepare extra-item claims, deviation statements and variation bills.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for measurements, work-done reports and billing documents.
- Follow up with clients and consultants for bill certification and payment status.
- Maintain billing records and ensure timely submission of invoices and supporting documents.





Cost Control & Documentation

- Monitor project costs against the approved estimate and budget.
- Prepare material reconciliation statements and cost comparison reports.
- Maintain project-wise estimation, billing and collection trackers.
- Identify quantity or cost variations and report them to management.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, BOQs, work orders, invoices and measurement records.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in estimation and billing, preferably in MEP or electrical contracting. (fresher can apply)
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, rate analysis and RA billing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with tender documentation, client billing and subcontractor billing.
- Good numerical, analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, clients, consultants and vendors.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in electrical contracting, plumbing and fire-fighting projects.
- Knowledge of HT/LT electrical works, panels, cabling, earthing and related installations.
- Understanding of project drawings, specifications and measurement methods.
- Ability to manage multiple project estimates and billing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
