Lifting and shifting of piping , Understand piping classes, specifications, material grades, pressure ratings, and pipe schedules. Identify piping materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, copper, UPVC, and HDPE, as applicable to the project. Understand pipe sizes, wall thickness, fittings, flanges, gaskets, valves, and pressure ratings.
Supervise pipe fabrication, cutting, welding, threading, grooving, erection, and installation. Ensure correct material selection according to approved piping class specifications and project requirements. Supervise HVAC chilled water piping, condenser water piping, drain piping, and associated mechanical services.
Coordinate equipment lifting, shifting, positioning, and installation of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and pumps. Perform and coordinate hydrostatic pressure testing, flushing, leak testing, and inspection activities.
