Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Haldwani. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, reviewing prescriptions for potential interactions or contraindications, and providing clear counseling to patients on medication use, dosage, and side effects. The role includes maintaining proper documentation, managing stock levels, checking expiry dates, and ensuring safe storage of pharmaceuticals.

The Pharmacist will support compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, assist in maintaining pharmacy standards and audits, and work closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.



The position also involves handling patient queries, promoting rational drug use, and contributing to a positive, professional, and safe pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

- Relevant pharmacy degree (e.g., B.Pharm or D.Pharm) from an accredited institution and valid registration with the appropriate pharmacy council.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and prescription interpretation.
- Ability to counsel patients effectively on medication use, side effects, and adherence, with clear and empathetic communication skills.
- Experience with pharmacy operations, including inventory management, billing, record-keeping, and familiarity with basic pharmacy software.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, attention to detail, and adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, and to manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is beneficial; willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
