We partner with schools to deliver structured Physical Education programs, professional sports coaching, fitness assessments, talent identification, and sporting events.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Physical Education & Curriculum Delivery

- Plan and conduct structured PE classes for students from Nursery to Class XII, as assigned.
- Implement the Shazam Sports PE curriculum and annual sports calendar.
- Deliver age-appropriate physical fitness, motor skills, sports, and wellness activities.
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance records, and student progress reports.

2. Sports Coaching & Talent Development

- Train students in multiple sports, including football, basketball, cricket, athletics, badminton, and other school sports.
- Identify talented students and provide advanced coaching opportunities.
- Prepare school teams for inter-school, district, state, and national competitions.
- Conduct regular sports trials and skill-development sessions.

3. Student Fitness & Assessment

- Conduct three structured physical fitness and skill assessments annually.
- Monitor student fitness, endurance, strength, flexibility, coordination, and sports performance.
- Maintain individual student assessment records.
- Recommend corrective exercises and improvement plans where appropriate.

Sports Events & School Activities

- Plan and execute Annual Sports Day, inter-house competitions, and sports tournaments.
- Coordinate morning assemblies, fitness activities, and special sporting events.
- Support school celebrations and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure effective management of sports equipment, grounds, and facilities.

5. Student Safety & Discipline

- Maintain discipline and professional conduct during all PE classes.
- Ensure student safety during sports and physical activities.
- Follow school safeguarding policies and emergency procedures.
- Promote teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle habits.

6. Administration & Reporting

- Submit weekly lesson plans and monthly performance reports.
- Maintain sports inventory and equipment records.
- Coordinate with school management, parents, and Shazam Sports supervisors.
- Participate in teacher training, performance reviews, and curriculum development.
- Follow Shazam Sports operating procedures and quality standards.

Educational Qualifications

Essential:

- Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) or equivalent qualification.
- B.P.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Must meet applicable CBSE, state board, and school eligibility requirements for PGT Physical Education.

Preferred:

- 2–5 years of experience teaching Physical Education in CBSE, ICSE, or reputed schools.




- Experience coaching school sports teams.
- Relevant sports coaching certifications.
- First Aid / CPR certification.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of physical education, fitness, and sports science.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to coach multiple sports disciplines.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and event management skills.
- Proficiency in maintaining reports and assessment records.
- Qualified appearance, punctuality, and a student-first attitude.

- 100% implementation of the assigned PE curriculum.
- Completion of three annual student fitness assessments.
- Timely submission of lesson plans and reports.
- Improvement in student fitness and sports participation.
- Successful execution of school sports events.
- Development of competitive school sports teams.
- Positive feedback from school management and Shazam Sports supervisors.
- Compliance with safety, discipline, and professional standards.
