Role Description The Pediatric Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to children, including diagnosis, treatment planning, preventive care, and patient education. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine check-ups, fillings, pulp therapies, extractions when required, and managing dental emergencies in pediatric patients. The role involves collaborating with other dental professionals, maintaining accurate clinical records, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in clinical Medicine and Dentistry to support safe, evidence-based patient care.
- Specialized skills in Pediatric Dentistry, including behavior management, preventive care, and child-focused treatment planning.
- Competence in Oral Surgery procedures relevant to pediatric cases, such as straightforward extractions and minor surgical interventions.
- Demonstrated expertise in comprehensive Dental Care, including diagnosis, restorative treatments, and management of dental emergencies.
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and recognized postgraduate qualification or specialization in Pediatric Dentistry.
- Valid dental registration/license as per Indian regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
- Commitment to high standards of clinical hygiene, patient safety, and continuous professional development.
