Role Overview:-

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer-Palantir / Palantir Foundry + Ontology + AIP Engineer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale data, analytics, and AI solutions.

This is not limited to data pipeline development. The role requires robust hands-on expertise across Palantir Foundry, Ontology design, and AIP, including the ability to translate complex business processes into Ontology-driven applications and AI-enabled workflows.

You must have practical experience delivering Foundry and AIP capabilities across multiple enterprise projects, supported by strong PySpark, Python, and SQL skills.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Design, develop, and implement enterprise data, analytics, and AI solutions using Palantir Foundry, Ontology, and AIP.
- Design and build Ontology objects, relationships, actions, and functions that accurately represent business entities, processes, and decision workflows.
- Translate business requirements and processes into scalable Ontology-driven applications, operational workflows, and AI use cases.
- Deliver Palantir projects involving data integration, transformation, analytics, AIP-enabled use cases, and production deployment.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows using PySpark, Python, and SQL.
- Build, troubleshoot, and maintain Foundry components and workflows, including Pipeline Builder, Code Repository, Ontology, Workshop applications, and actions.
- Implement AIP capabilities across business use cases, including AI agents, tool/function calling, evaluations, governance, security, and production deployment.





Must-Have Skills:-

- At least 3 years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience ; 5+ years preferred.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Palantir AIP , including practical exposure to AI agents, tool/function calling, evaluations, governance, security, and production deployment.
- Strong hands-on experience in Ontology design , including objects, relationships, actions, and functions.
- Experience delivering at least 2 Palantir projects or use cases , with the ability to clearly explain individual contribution, architecture, and business outcome.
- Strong practical skills in PySpark, Python, and SQL .
- Hands-on experience developing, testing, deploying, and troubleshooting data pipelines, transformations, and Foundry solutions.
- Working knowledge of relevant Foundry components, such as Pipeline Builder, Ontology, Workshop, Code Repository, Actions, and Functions .
- Ability to explain an end-to-end enterprise project: business problem, source systems, ingestion, transformation, Ontology/application design, AIP implementation, security/governance, deployment, monitoring, and business outcome.

Preferred / Good to Have:-

- Hands-on experience with technologies: Snowflake, Atlan, Power BI, SAP BW on HANA, SAP, Salesforce, Workday, and TrakSYS .
- Experience integrating data from enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, manufacturing systems, or other operational platforms.
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms, including Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
- Experience with enterprise analytics and reporting using Power BI or similar tools.
- Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, or MLOps beyond Palantir AIP work.
- Experience working with data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and data-quality frameworks.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms and enterprise-grade deployment practices.
