Responsibilities

- Buy against the weekly production plan.

- Raw materials: oils, spices, chillies, vinegar, sugar, fresh produce.

- Packaging: glass jars, PET bottles, caps, labels, cartons.

- Raise purchase orders, with three quotes for larger orders.

- Onboard and assess vendors.

- Collect each vendor's FSSAI licence, COA and specs.

- Receive goods: check quantity, batch, expiry and quality against the PO, and record the GRN the same day.

- Run the stores: issue material on FIFO/FEFO.

- Keep the stock register current.

- Do weekly and monthly physical counts.

- Set reorder levels, and track lead times and vendor performance.
