Job Opportunity: Oracle ORMB / Full Stack Java Developer & Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and proactive Application Software Development Engineer (ORMB / Full Stack Java) to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web-based software solutions in a client/server environment.

Depending on your experience level, you will either act as an ORMB Developer taking end-to-end ownership of software components, or step into a Design & Development Lead position guiding technical direction, mentoring team members, and conducting code reviews.

Technical Stack & Tools

- Core Platform: Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB)
- Backend: Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Servlets, JDBC, RESTful Web Services
- Frontend: React.js, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- Database: Oracle SQL, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning (Oracle SQL Developer)
- Version Control & Tools: GitHub, SDLC/Agile tools

Key Responsibilities 1. Core Development & Technical Delivery (All Levels)

- Solution Delivery: Analyze internal business requirements and build robust, high-performance web applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React.js, and ORMB.
- Database & UI Engineering: Design and implement reusable frontend UI components, scalable backend microservices/REST APIs, complex SQL queries, and stored procedures with an emphasis on performance tuning.
- Maintenance & Support: Support existing enterprise applications, proactively identify critical issues/risks, and drive root-cause resolution.
- SDLC Lifecycle: Actively participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle—from initial requirement analysis through QA, UAT,



and production deployment.
- Estimations & Planning: Provide accurate assessments of task complexity, effort duration, progress tracking, and risk mitigation.
- System Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, architecture designs, and unit testing plans.

2. Leadership & Collaboration (Lead Level — 5+ Years Experience)

- Technical Leadership & Code Reviews: Lead development workflows, conduct rigorous code reviews, establish coding best practices, and mentor junior/mid-level team members.
- Architectural Design: Take ownership of solution architecture and component design for internal client needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Independently lead technical and business discussions with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Internal Auditors, and cross-functional global teams.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile Experience & Education:

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Lead Role: 5–6 years of hands-on software development experience with proven leadership capabilities.
- Developer Role: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in full-stack Java/ORMB software development.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong hands-on development expertise in ORMB, Java/J2EE, Spring Framework / Spring Boot, React.js, and REST Web Services.
- Solid background in relational databases, particularly Oracle SQL, database tuning, and writing optimized PL/SQL or stored procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement mindset with an eagerness to learn recent technologies and drive process automation.
