Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant with 8+ years of relevant experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Financials. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in end-to-end implementation projects, business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, user training, and post-production support. The consultant should be capable of documenting business processes and preparing comprehensive user guides and training materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and participate in Oracle EBS Finance implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from finance stakeholders.
- Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis and recommend Oracle EBS solutions aligned with business needs.
- Configure and support Oracle EBS Financial modules.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), and Functional Specifications.
- Work closely with technical teams on customizations, interfaces, reports, workflows, and data conversions.




- Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and hypercare activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues while ensuring business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business users throughout the project lifecycle.
- Document business processes, prepare SOPs, user guides, training materials, and conduct end-user training sessions.
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS Financials.
- Proven experience in Oracle EBS implementation projects.
- Finance Module: AR, EBTax, CE, FA, GL, EDI messages, SLA, Intercompany
- Robust functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 Financials.
- Experience in requirement gathering, business process mapping, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
- Ability to create detailed functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
