This service request is for on premise Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Azure, AWS cloud databases to perform physical infrastructure administration activities for our database team within the ITSPL unit of ITS VPU
Preferred candidate profile
Extensive experience in Oracle RAC, Dataguard administration. Extensive experience with PaaS/IaaS databases PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB provisioning and administration in AWS, Azure cloud vendors. Relevant experience with data migration into cloud DBs. Relevant experience with Oracle RAC in Red Hat Linux platform. Relevant experience with Oracle ASM storage, instance management. Relevant experience with RMAN (Oracle), BARMAN (PostgreSQL) for backup and recovery.
Experience with AWS, Azure cloud native databases and services.
Experience with Azure DevOps, and shell scripting for processes automation. Relevant experience in use of ITIL processes.
Relevant experience for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX/ICFR compliance of critical financial systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting Experience in Terraform Cloud (TFC) modules development for cloud resources provisioning and implementation a big plus. OCP/ Azure /AWS DBA certification is a big plus Desired Skills/Abilities Experience in OCI (Audit, Monitoring, Backup/Restore, and overall knowledge of OCI) is a plus.
Experience in Oracle Exadata is a plus Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containers for database deployments is a plus.
Experience in Agile methodologies and SRE practice is a plus.
