Salary: ₹18,000–₹27,000 per month, depending on experience and technical skills

Travel Support: Fuel / travel allowance as per company policy

Reporting To: Team Leader / Field Operations Manager

1. Job Purpose

To install, maintain and troubleshoot FTTH (Fiber to the Home) broadband connections, ensuring reliable internet connectivity, timely fault resolution and customer satisfaction.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Install and maintain FTTH fiber-optic broadband connections at customer premises.
- Perform fiber-optic cable laying, routing, termination, splicing and jointing.
- Install and configure ONT/ONU devices, Wi-Fi routers and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot fiber cuts, low optical power, LOS alarms and internet connectivity issues.
- Use optical power meters, OTDR and other fiber-testing instruments as required.
- Check optical power levels and ensure signal quality meets network standards.
- Attend customer complaints and complete service requests within defined SLA timelines.
- Perform preventive maintenance and restore services during network outages.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, materials and service closures.
- Coordinate with Team Leaders, NOC teams and other field technicians.
- Follow company procedures, network quality standards and field safety requirements.




- Maintain professional communication and ensure customer satisfaction.

1. Required Technical Skills

- Knowledge of FTTH architecture and GPON technology.
- Experience in fiber-optic installation, termination and splicing.
- Knowledge of optical power measurements and fiber fault identification.
- Basic understanding of ONT/ONU, routers, Wi-Fi and broadband connectivity.
- Ability to troubleshoot LOS, low-power and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with OTDR, optical power meters and visual fault locators.
- Basic smartphone application usage for work orders and job closure.

1. Educational Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications or a related field preferred.
- Candidates with relevant hands-on telecom experience may also be considered.

1. Experience Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in FTTH, broadband installation or telecom field operations.
- Experience handling customer installations and fault rectification.
- Prior experience with an ISP or telecom service provider is preferred.

1. Other Requirements

- Willingness to travel across assigned service areas in Hyderabad.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred where field travel requires them.




- Ability to work independently and meet service turnaround targets.
- Valuable communication, problem-solving and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to follow ladder, electrical and fiber-optic safety procedures.

1. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Daily installation and service-restoration productivity.
- First-time-right installation and repair rate.
- SLA compliance and average fault-resolution time.
- Repeat complaints and revisit percentage.
- Customer satisfaction and complaint closure quality.
- Fiber network quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Accurate material usage and work-order documentation.
