Roles & Responsibilities

Lead Punahprayog's SOP driven Operations

Establish Processing/Material Recovery Facility in Bangalore

Manage routine logistics, collection & processing including booking, scheduling, and pickups from customers

Manage operational workflow: pickup scheduling → weighing → segregation → packing → partner recycling/material channelization

Source & maintain on-site equipment: Fibre Identification devices, IoT machines, Thermal printers

Plan inventory and consumables

Develop vendors for required consumables

Develop and appoint recyclers, upcyclers and down cyclers to sell processed Textile Waste

Complete all required statutory registrations including but not limited to labour laws

Ensure compliance with Solid Waste Management Rules

Ensure complete documentation as required by third party verifiers & independent auditors

Train and lead Processing/Material Recovery Facility employees

Lead opening & establishment of new Processing/Material Recovery Facilities

Build and maintain relationships with material/recycling partners, cargo aggregators

Ideal Candidate

Strong Operations, Logistics & Facility Management Profile with SOP-driven, hands-on experience

Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 5+ years in warehousing, logistics, and operations management, with hands-on operational experience (not purely strategic/desk)

Mandatory (Experience 2):



Must have experience leading SOP-driven operations and managing end-to-end operational workflow (scheduling, weighing, segregation, packing, channelization).

Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have experience setting up or establishing a facility/warehouse from scratch (this role sets up Punahprayog's first Material Recovery Facility and later establishes more across India)

Mandatory (Experience 4): Must have experience managing routine logistics, collection, and processing, including booking, scheduling, and customer pickups.

Mandatory (Experience 5): Must have experience sourcing/maintaining in office equipment, planning inventory and consumables, and developing vendors.

Mandatory (Experience 6): Must have experience developing and managing partners/vendors (here: recyclers, upcyclers, downcyclers, material/recycling partners, cargo aggregators)

Mandatory (Skill 1): Must be able to complete statutory registrations (including labour laws) and ensure compliance with Solid Waste Management Rules, with complete documentation for third-party verifiers and auditors.

Mandatory (Skill 2): Must be able to build and manage a small team — hiring, training, day-to-day supervision

Mandatory (Tools): Must have exposure to on-demand logistics apps / aggregators.

Mandatory (Attribute): Must have a startup mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and hands-on execution

Preferred: Exposure to textile waste, recycling, material recovery, or sustainability/circularity operations

Additional Information

Bangalore-based role reporting directly to Co-Founder & Managing Director

Role involves setting up Punahprayog's first Material Recovery Facility with responsibility to establish newer Material Recovery Facilities across India
