About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive to join Azuro’s Central Support Team. The role will focus on ensuring operational accuracy, completing regular audits, managing financial reconciliations and settlements, supporting internal teams, maintaining SOP compliance, and identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and products.
This is not a conventional customer support role. The person will work across multiple teams, identify operational gaps, investigate discrepancies, ensure timely resolution of pending activities, and help improve the overall efficiency of Azuro’s property management operations.
1. Key Responsibilities
A. Audit & Operational Compliance
- Conduct regular audits of operational activities, transactions, records, and system entries to identify errors, inconsistencies, and process gaps.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of data maintained across internal systems and trackers.
- Identify deviations from defined SOPs and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Maintain audit checklists, discrepancy logs, supporting evidence, and closure reports.
- Track recurring errors and recommend preventive measures to reduce operational failures.
- Ensure audit findings are documented and closed within agreed timelines.
B. Reconciliation & Settlement Management
- Perform regular reconciliation of financial transactions, settlement records, payment entries, and related operational data.
- Identify mismatches, duplicate entries, missing transactions, incorrect amounts, and pending settlements.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Property Managers, and other relevant teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain settlement trackers with clear ownership, ageing, status, and expected closure dates.
- Ensure all settlement-related activities are completed accurately and within defined timelines.
- Escalate unresolved financial discrepancies and high-risk exceptions to the reporting manager.
C. Central Operations & Internal Team Support
- Provide operational support to Property Managers, PM Team Leads, city teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Handle internal operational queries related to system entries, transactions, process flows, documentation, and settlement issues.
- Monitor pending tasks and escalations to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain central trackers for operational pendencies, audit observations, and issue resolution.
- Follow up with responsible teams until issues are resolved, rather than simply forwarding requests.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review.
D. SOP Documentation & Process Governance
- Understand existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure teams follow the defined processes.
- Identify gaps, outdated instructions, and repetitive manual activities in existing workflows.
- Draft and update SOPs, checklists, process documents, and internal guidelines.
- Maintain documentation of process changes and ensure relevant stakeholders are informed.
- Support the implementation of standardised workflows across cities and operational teams.
- Recommend controls that reduce dependency on manual follow-ups and individual knowledge.
E. Product Improvement & Process Automation
- Identify recurring operational problems that can be solved through product or system improvements.
- Gather examples, screenshots, data, and process details to clearly explain the problem.
- Prepare structured product improvement requests with the problem statement, current process, expected outcome, and business impact.
- Coordinate with the Product and Technology teams for issue tracking, testing, and implementation follow-ups.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate whether implemented changes solve the original problem.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reports, reconciliations, trackers, and repetitive operational tasks using Excel or other available tools.
F. Reporting, Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate operational dashboards and trackers.
- Monitor pending items, ageing, turnaround time, repeat errors, audit closure, and settlement status.
- Highlight recurring operational bottlenecks and propose actionable improvements.
- Provide clear status updates to management, including completed work, pending items,
root causes, and next steps.
- Take ownership of assigned improvement initiatives from identification through implementation and validation.
2. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance will be evaluated on measurable outcomes, including:
1. Audit Accuracy: Accuracy and completeness of audits, with minimal missed discrepancies.
2. Settlement & Reconciliation: Timely completion of reconciliations and reduction in unresolved mismatches.
3. Pendencies Closure: Percentage of assigned issues resolved within agreed timelines.
4. SOP Compliance: Completion of audit observations and reduction in repeated process deviations.
5. Internal Support: Responsiveness, quality of resolution, and stakeholder satisfaction.
6. Product Improvement: Quality of problem statements, useful improvement suggestions, and follow-through on implementation.
7. Reporting Accuracy: Timely and reliable submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
8. Process Efficiency: Reduction in manual work, recurring errors, and avoidable operational delays.
Specific targets will be defined by the reporting manager based on business requirements and the team's baseline performance. 3. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferably 1–3 years of experience in operations, audit support, reconciliation, settlements, finance operations, or process management.
- Positive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, filters, and data validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
- Strong ownership, follow-up discipline, and willingness to work independently.
Good to have:
- Experience in property management, financial services, payment operations, or reconciliation.
- Familiarity with dashboards, reporting tools, and process automation.
- Experience documenting SOPs, conducting audits, or supporting UAT.
- Exposure to tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or similar workflow and reporting platforms.
