? Role Overview

We are looking for an AI-driven Network Architect and Technology Leader with prior experience in a Phishing Simulation, Human Risk Management (HRM), or Cybersecurity company. This role combines technical architecture, cloud infrastructure, network engineering, backend development, AI integration, and technology leadership.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of our technology architecture, guide and mentor the Tech team, drive AI adoption across product development and engineering workflows, and build scalable, secure, and intelligent solutions. We are looking for someone who is highly hands-on, AI-enabled, forward-thinking, and capable of translating business and product requirements into robust technical solutions.

? Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Leadership & Team Management

· Lead, guide, and mentor the Tech team, providing technical direction, architectural guidance, and support for complex engineering challenges.

· Drive engineering standards, best practices, code quality, technical documentation, and accountability across the team.

· Review technical designs, code, and implementation approaches to ensure quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.

· Work closely with Product, Operations, and Business stakeholders to translate business priorities into technical roadmaps and deliverables.

· Establish development priorities, manage technical dependencies, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure timely delivery of product milestones.

· Build a culture of innovation, continuous learning, ownership, collaboration, and AI-first engineering.

· Identify skill gaps within the Tech team and drive knowledge-sharing, upskilling, and technical capability development.

2. AI-First Engineering & Innovation

· Champion an AI-first approach to software engineering, leveraging AI tools, coding assistants, agents, and automation to improve engineering productivity and delivery speed.

· Identify opportunities to integrate Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and intelligent automation into SimuPhish products and internal technology workflows.

· Design and guide the development of AI-enabled features for phishing simulations, human risk insights, security awareness, and threat simulation.

· Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tools, translating relevant innovations into practical product capabilities.

· Guide the Tech team in using AI for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, code reviews, and workflow automation.

· Ensure AI integrations are secure, reliable, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with responsible AI practices.

· Drive rapid prototyping, proof of concepts, and experimentation to accelerate product innovation.

3. Network Architecture & Infrastructure

· Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures.





· Own the technical architecture across networking, cloud infrastructure, servers, connectivity, and deployment environments.

· Oversee LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless networking, firewalls, and network access controls.

· Establish infrastructure monitoring, performance optimization, incident response, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.

· Identify infrastructure risks and implement measures to improve availability, resilience, reliability, and security.

4. Cloud Computing & Server Administration

· Architect and manage cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

· Oversee server provisioning, configuration, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.

· Drive cloud cost optimization, resource utilization, scalability, and infrastructure automation.

· Implement appropriate access controls, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and secure deployment practices.

· Guide the team in adopting cloud-native architectures, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code wherever appropriate.

5. Backend Development & Technical Architecture

· Provide technical direction for backend development using Python, FastAPI, and related frameworks.

· Design and review APIs, microservices, integrations, and backend components for performance, reliability, and maintainability.

· Guide database design, application architecture, system integrations, and data flow across product modules.

· Establish coding standards, testing practices, code review processes, and CI/CD workflows.

· Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve system performance.

· Ensure architecture decisions support current product requirements while allowing future scalability and AI integration.

6. Product Engineering & Cybersecurity Solutions

· Apply industry knowledge gained from a Phishing Simulation, Human Risk Management, or Cybersecurity product setting to strengthen SimuPhish's technical capabilities.

· Guide the architecture and engineering of realistic phishing simulations, AI-powered vishing, voice cloning, ransomware simulations, deepfake videos, and other advanced simulation capabilities.

· Ensure simulation environments are designed with appropriate security controls, isolation, scalability, and reliability.

· Collaborate with Product and Engineering stakeholders to convert product concepts into technical solutions and implementation plans.

· Identify opportunities to improve product performance, architecture, integrations, automation, and user experience.

7. Technical Strategy, Delivery & Continuous Improvement

· Own and evolve the technology architecture and technical roadmap in alignment with business objectives.

· Assess new technologies, frameworks, platforms, and tools to improve product capabilities and engineering efficiency.

· Identify technical debt, architectural gaps, and infrastructure risks, and establish clear remediation priorities.





· Drive engineering execution through effective planning, estimation, prioritization, and delivery tracking.

· Define relevant technical KPIs covering system reliability, delivery efficiency, code quality, automation, and AI adoption.

· Keep leadership informed about technical progress, challenges, risks, resource requirements, and innovation opportunities.

Required Skills & Expertise

· Industry Experience: Prior experience working with a Phishing Simulation, Human Risk Management (HRM), or Cybersecurity company is essential.

· Technology Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and guide technical teams while remaining hands-on with architecture and implementation.

· AI & Generative AI: Strong practical understanding of AI-enabled development, LLMs, AI coding tools, AI agents, automation, and AI application integration.

· Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including cloud networking, infrastructure management, and deployment.

· Network Architecture: Strong expertise in computer networking, wireless networking, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, switching, and firewalls.

· Server Administration: Experience managing Linux/Windows servers, infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

· Python Development: Strong proficiency in Python for backend development, scripting, integrations, and automation.

· FastAPI & APIs: Experience building, managing, and integrating APIs and backend services using FastAPI or equivalent frameworks.

· System Architecture: Ability to design scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable SaaS architectures.

· DevOps & Automation: Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.

· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, ownership, and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

· Relevant certifications in cloud architecture, networking, or cybersecurity.

· Experience building or scaling SaaS-based cybersecurity or AI-enabled products.

· Experience integrating LLMs, AI agents, vector databases, RAG pipelines, or other AI application architectures.

· Familiarity with cloud-native systems, distributed architectures, observability, and secure software development practices.

· Experience establishing engineering processes, technical roadmaps, and measurable delivery standards in a product-driven organization.
