Role Overview

VOPA is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic MSW Intern who is passionate about social work, community development, education, and mental well-being. The intern will support field-level activities, community engagement, data collection, documentation, and implementation of social impact programs.

Roles And Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and implementing community development and social impact initiatives.
- Support field visits, community surveys, interviews, and beneficiary interactions.
- Coordinate with schools, teachers, parents, community members, and local stakeholders.
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing field data and feedback.
- Support awareness campaigns related to education, mental health, and community well-being.
- Prepare reports, case studies, success stories, and field visit documentation.
- Assist in monitoring program activities and tracking beneficiary participation.
- Coordinate with project teams for the timely execution of activities.
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, survey responses, and program outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other organizational activities.

Eligibility Criteria

- Currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.
- Strong interest in community development, education, mental health, and social impact.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.




- Willingness to participate in field visits and interact with diverse communities.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office, Google Sheets, and documentation tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate initiative.

Preferred Skills

- Prior experience in fieldwork, community outreach, surveys, or NGO activities.
- Knowledge of social work methods, community mobilization, and participatory approaches.
- Report writing, documentation, and data management skills.
- Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi and English communication skills.

Learning Opportunities

- Practical exposure to NGO operations and social development programs.
- Hands-on experience in field research, community engagement, and program implementation.
- Understanding of technology-enabled education and mental health initiatives.

Internship Details

- Position: MSW Intern
- Location: Pune, Maharashtra
- Duration: 3–6 months, depending on academic requirements and organizational needs.
- Stipend: As per organizational policy.
- Work Mode: Primarily office-based, with field visits as required.
