Job Title: Sr. MIS Executive – Production & Material Management

We are looking for an experienced Sr. MIS Executive – Production & Material Management to manage production data, material consumption, stock movement, wastage and production reports to manage raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods inventory to ensure uninterrupted production, accurate stock records, timely material availability, and effective inventory control through the Material Management System (MMS).

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily material inward and outward activities in the manufacturing plant.
- Verify incoming raw materials against purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, and quality inspection reports.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Receipt Notes (MRN), Material Issue Slips, and Material Return Notes.
- Update all material transactions in the MMS/ERP system on a timely basis.
- Issue raw materials to production as per approved material requisitions and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and reorder points to prevent production stoppages.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality Control, Planning, and Finance departments.
- Maintain batch numbers, lot traceability, material codes, and stock locations wherever applicable.
- Conduct daily or periodic physical stock verification and reconcile differences with system stock.
- Track slow-moving,



non-moving, excess, and obsolete materials.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, preservation, and FIFO/FEFO practices as applicable.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Required Skills

- Material Management System (MMS) / ERP software
- MS Excel and inventory reporting
- SAP MM or other ERP systems, if applicable
- Knowledge of BOM, GRN, material requisitions, and stock reconciliation
- Understanding of FIFO/FEFO and inventory control techniques

Experience

- 1–5 years of experience in material management, inventory control, or manufacturing stores.
- Experience in production tracking and material management systems.
- Good analytical, coordination and data management skills.

- Inventory accuracy
- Timely material availability for production
- Reduction in material shortages and production stoppages
- GRN and material issue transaction accuracy
- Stock variance and reconciliation
- Reduction in excess and obsolete inventory

Important Note: Only candidates with hands-on experience in Production MIS and Material Management in a manufacturing/production unit should apply. Candidates with only Sales MIS, Finance MIS, HR MIS, or general MIS experience are not eligible. Please ignore this vacancy if you do not have relevant production experience.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
