- Isolate, culture, identify, and categorize microorganisms from clinical, environmental, or product samples.

- Conduct diagnostic tests including Gram staining, PCR, ELISA, staining techniques, and automated identification systems.

- Perform antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) and bioburden testing.

- Quality Control &

- Regulatory Compliance

- Maintain laboratory operations under strict regulatory guidelines (GLP, GMP, ISO 17025, or ISO 15189).

- Perform environmental monitoring in cleanrooms and sterile manufacturing areas.

- Standardize and validate analytical methods, equipment calibration, and testing media.

- Data Management &

- Reporting

- Interpret experimental/diagnostic data and author official analytical reports.

- Document out-of-specification (OOS) investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Maintain accurate logs using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

- Biosafety &

- Supervision

- Ensure laboratory compliance with biosafety protocols (BSL-1 to BSL-3 levels) and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.

- Supervise junior lab technicians and assistants in sample preparation and equipment safety.
