Position: Medical Billing-Insurance Credentialing Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking a Medical Billing–Insurance Credentialing Specialist to manage both payer enrollment and billing operations. The ideal candidate will manage provider enrollment, payer communication, and compliance requirements, ensuring smooth onboarding and maintenance across multiple insurance networks, and hands-on billing expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle end-to-end insurance credentialing for providers (Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers).
- Maintain accurate documentation and track credentialing timelines.
- Communicate effectively with payers, providers, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and payer-specific requirements.
- Support EFT setup and related insurance correspondence.
- Engage in direct client interaction to address inquiries and provide updates.

Qualifications:





- 2–4 years of experience in insurance credentialing and medical billing.
- Proven experience in insurance credentialing (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers).
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with CAQH, PECOS, Availity, and payer portals.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Background:

- Prior experience with healthcare organizations, labs, or physician practices.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (CLIA, CMS).
