Job Summary SGS India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers for a Hydro Power Project at Gandikota, Andhra Pradesh. Candidates must have relevant experience in hydro power projects, hydro-mechanical works, penstock installation, heavy fabrication, welding inspection, and NDT activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate hydro-mechanical installation and execution activities.
- Monitor penstock fabrication, erection, installation, and alignment work.
- Supervise heavy fabrication activities as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Inspect welding activities and ensure compliance with approved welding procedures.
- Coordinate NDT inspections and review inspection reports.
- Ensure quality standards and project specifications are followed.
- Monitor site progress and coordinate with project teams and contractors.
- Verify fabrication, erection,



and inspection documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project safety procedures and quality requirements.
- Identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions at the site.

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Hydro Power Projects.
- Strong knowledge of hydro-mechanical works and penstock systems.
- Experience in heavy fabrication and erection activities.
- Knowledge of welding inspection and welding procedures.
- NDT Level-II certification or relevant NDT inspection experience.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Positive coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with hands-on experience in hydro power projects, penstock fabrication and installation, hydro-mechanical equipment, heavy fabrication, welding, and NDT inspection will be preferred.
