Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an MDS Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery professional based at Dermatrix’s Thane clinic. The role involves performing oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, corrective jaw surgeries, trauma management, and minor oral surgeries, in alignment with established clinical protocols. The qualified will conduct thorough diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with dermatology, aesthetic, and wellness teams to support integrated care and dental aesthetics.

Daily responsibilities include pre- and post-operative patient consultations,



maintaining detailed clinical records, ensuring adherence to sterilization and safety standards, and participating in case discussions and quality improvement initiatives. The role also includes patient education, management of follow-up care, and contribution to the overall patient experience in line with Dermatrix’s ethical and patient-first philosophy.

Qualifications

- Recognized MDS degree in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from an accredited institution, with valid registration and license to practice.
- Clinical expertise in oral surgery, implants, maxillofacial trauma management, orthognathic surgery, minor oral procedures, and dental aesthetics.
- Strong diagnostic, treatment planning, and case documentation skills, with attention to detail and adherence to evidence-based protocols.
- Proficiency in patient communication, counseling, and chairside manner, with a focus on building trust and supporting informed decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-specialty environment, coordinating with dermatology, aesthetic, dental, and wellness teams.
- Commitment to infection control, surgical safety, and clinical quality standards, including familiarity with advanced equipment and technologies.
- Comfort with using digital tools for medical records, imaging, and practice workflows; openness to adopting new techniques and protocols.
- Prior experience in aesthetic or dental cosmetic settings is an advantage; fluency in English and local languages is preferred.
