Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MDM (Master Data Management) SME with strong expertise in Vendor Master Data Management and working knowledge of Customer Master Data Management. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining master data accuracy, ensuring data quality, managing data governance processes, and supporting business operations in accordance with established policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Vendor Master Data Management processes, including vendor creation, modification, extension, and deactivation.
- Handle Customer Master Data Management activities, including customer creation, updates, validation, and maintenance.
- Validate master data requests and ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business rules.
- Perform duplicate checks, data cleansing, data validation, and master data quality assessments.
- Ensure compliance with master data governance policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal controls.
- Coordinate with procurement, finance,



accounts payable, sales, and other business teams to resolve master data issues.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies, duplicate records, and process-related issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all master data transactions.
- Support master data audits, reporting, process improvements, and root-cause analysis.
- Meet defined SLAs, productivity targets, and quality benchmarks.
- Provide SME-level support to team members and assist with complex master data queries and escalations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4.1 to 6 years of relevant experience in Master Data Management (MDM).
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Vendor Master Data Management.
- Working knowledge of Customer Master Data Management.
- Understanding of vendor and customer master data attributes, validation rules, and data governance processes.
- Experience with data cleansing, duplicate identification, data validation, and quality checks.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage escalations effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
