Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions.

Conduct comprehensive pulmonary examinations and evaluate medical histories.

Manage conditions such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, bronchitis, tuberculosis, and other respiratory disorders.

Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests and other relevant investigations.

Provide appropriate treatment plans, prescriptions, and follow-up care.

Handle emergency respiratory cases and provide timely medical intervention.

Perform or assist with pulmonary procedures as required.

Coordinate with other specialists and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory health, treatment, and preventive care.

Requirements

MD/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine / Respiratory Medicine

35 years of relevant clinical experience

Robust diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills

Good communication and patient-management skills

Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary medical team.
