About the role

- Looking for someone who has experience in the automotive industry.

- Full-time chance in materials management, supporting raw material availability and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

- Work closely with the Materials Manager and production teams to maintain accurate inventory, coordinate supplier deliveries and prevent production line stoppages.

Key responsibilities

- Review daily production schedules and prepare material requisitions aligned with customer delivery requirements.

- Issue weekly and monthly supplier delivery schedules and rolling projections to domestic and overseas suppliers.

- Monitor shop-floor buffer stocks and identify potential component shortages before they affect assembly lines.

- Follow up with suppliers, expedite purchase orders, track in-transit consignments and coordinate on-time deliveries with logistics partners.

- Resolve supplier escalations, invoice and dispatch note mismatches, and urgent production material requirements.

- Track goods receipt notes, production issues and line returns in ERP systems.

- Monitor safety stock, minimum and maximum stock levels, and slow-moving or obsolete inventory.





- Support cycle counts and physical stock verification across warehouse and production locations.

- Coordinate with incoming quality inspection and warehouse teams for timely material clearance and availability.

- Maintain shortage lists, on-time in-full supplier delivery reports and dispatch trackers; support customer sales and production forecasts.

Qualifications

- Diploma or bachelor's degree in the specified disciplines; listed qualifications include B.Com, B.Sc and B.Tech.

- 1–3 years of material planning, procurement or supply chain experience in manufacturing.

- Automotive or auto-component industry experience preferred.

- Working familiarity with ERP systems and inventory modules such as SAP MM/PP or Oracle.

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and basic formulas.

- Clear verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to prioritise urgent material shortages under pressure.

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (B.Com/B.Sc/B.Tech)
