Role Description The Manager – EPC Tendering will lead end-to-end tendering activities for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects, ensuring competitive and compliant bid submissions. This full-time, on-site role is based in Chennai and involves coordinating tender preparation, reviewing technical and commercial requirements, and managing bid documentation and timelines. The role includes collaborating with project, engineering, finance, and procurement teams to gather inputs, analyze risks, and develop winning bid strategies.

The manager will interact with clients and internal stakeholders, clarify tender specifications, support negotiations,



and maintain tender databases and market intelligence. Continuous improvement of tender processes, adherence to company policies and industry standards, and support for business development initiatives are integral parts of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Tender Management and Tender Preparation, including bid planning, documentation, compliance review, and costing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Procurement and Project Management to coordinate materials, services, timelines, and resource planning for EPC tenders.
- Candidates should possess skills in Sales and client engagement, with the ability to support business development, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills to evaluate tender requirements, risks, and pricing strategies.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in EPC tendering within infrastructure, construction, or related sectors; familiarity with contracts, regulatory norms, and industry standards is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office and tendering tools; experience with BIM-based workflows and project management software is an added advantage.
