Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full time, on-site role based at the Mysore manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, utilities, and supporting systems to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. Daily activities include performing routine inspections, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding promptly to breakdowns.

The technician will collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime, maintain maintenance logs, follow safety and compliance procedures,



and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role may involve working in shifts, handling spare parts and tools, and coordinating with external service providers when required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to support day-to-day plant operations.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Troubleshooting and Industrial Maintenance for prompt resolution of equipment issues.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Preventive Maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably in FMCG, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Working knowledge of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and basic understanding of quality and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics, maintain documentation, and use maintenance management tools or software.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
