Role Description The Legal Specialist will provide legal support and guidance to individuals using the Choice4Voice.com platform. This full-time remote role involves reviewing user submissions, analyzing legal issues, and preparing transparent, accurate documentation and communication for internal and external stakeholders.
The Legal
Specialist will help assess the legal aspects of each matter, advise on potential avenues for resolution, and collaborate with advocates or legal representatives when required. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, summarizing cases, maintaining organized records, and ensuring that all actions align with relevant laws and regulations.
The role also includes communicating with users and organizations in a professional, empathetic, and objective manner, and contributing to the development of best practices for handling user matters.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law with demonstrated experience addressing Legal Issues in consumer, civil, or administrative matters.
- Proficiency in Legal Consulting, including assessing user concerns, advising on options, and coordinating with external advocates when needed.
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation, such as drafting letters, summaries, agreements, and case outlines with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, the ability to explain legal concepts in accessible language, and a client-focused approach.
- Relevant academic background, such as a law degree or paralegal/legal studies qualification, and applicable certifications or bar admission where required.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple matters simultaneously, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Comfort with online platforms and basic digital tools for documentation, communication, and case tracking.
- Prior experience in advocacy, consumer rights, dispute resolution, or compliance is beneficial.
