Greetings!

We are looking for Technology Transfer Engineer (Pilot plant) at Goa Location.

Experience 7- 12 Years.

Qualification - Must have BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering.

Role purpose

- To assist the technology transfer of processes into pilot plant for both internally (Goa T&E;) and externally ( other locations plants) developed processes
- To Works cross functionally with process development, analytical , raw material procurement and facilities departments to effectively transfer and maintain processes in the facility
- Involve in compilation of process data , report preparation
- Evaluates existing processes and identifies process and/or equipment improvement to improve efficiency, consistency, and competitiveness within the timelines.
- Responsible for the process performance monitoring / optimization / development during pilot trials

- Support operation team in preparation of the technical documents including batch production records, specifications, project reports, and engineering specifications

Accountabilities:

- For operating the plant as per the HSEQEn management system
- For any scenarios that can place oneself as well as others to injuries /illness and Environment pollution

- Develops BFD , costing , engineering package for any new product introduction in pilot

Responsibilities:

- Should undertake equipment mapping , process risk assessment , management of change prior to pilot trials

- Basic knowledge in chemistry and process hazard
- Process hazard data interpretation and translating to pilot trials
- Exploits a deep knowledge of chemical technology, chemical processes & processing to deliver right first time product





- Takes detailed account of the end-to-end solutions while devolving the process during pilot trial
- Develops specific calculation methodologies and process models to support design, scale-up and sizing
- Extensive knowledge of Basis of Safety across the whole process, including hazard identification, risk assessment of all performance aspects, and incident investigation.

- Generates, investigates and owns innovative technical solutions across functional boundaries.
- Understands and utilises advanced calculation, modelling and simulation tools in support of design, and performs complex scale-up and sizing calculations
- Provides critical justification of the end-to-end process based on detailed economic, safety and operability assessment

- Works independently in supporting the implementation of new chemical processes using novel technologies
- Lead comprehensive training on topics including safe operations of process units (including MOCs, HAZOPs and P&IDs;), Key process safety indicators, BOS (Basis of safety), and API, Global standards and procedures.

Critical knowledge

- Must have BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering
- Atleast Min 7 - 12 years experience in technology transfer, process engineering or Scale -up Good understanding of HSEQEn systems in chemical industry

- Appreciation of high process safety standards basic theoretical and practical experience.
- Awareness of ISO 50001:2018 requirements for this role.
