Hands-on Senior Backend Engineer to lead a pod of 4–5 engineers building high-throughput, stateful backend systems. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level architectural blueprints and tactical software execution.

Dedicated system architects will provide the macro architecture and domain designs; your job is to translate those blueprints into concrete Low-Level Designs (LLDs), data schemas, and clean API contracts, while writing production code alongside your team. You will run daily technical unblocking, review pull requests with high standards, and maintain the pod's delivery cadence.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Feature Engineering (60%): Write clean, production-grade asynchronous backend code, build stateful workflow engines, and integrate third-party APIs, data stores, and event brokers.

Low-Level Design & Task Scaffolding (20%): Take high-level architectural diagrams and break them down into modular interface designs, schema validations and well-scoped technical tickets for 4–5 engineers.

Technical Mentorship & Unblocking (20%): Run PR reviews, pair-program through complex race conditions and deadlocks, establish testing/mocking standards, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
