Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Japanese Language Interpreter / Translator who can effectively facilitate communication between Japanese-speaking customers and internal teams. The candidate should have strong Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese interpretation and translation skills, along with experience in customer meetings, conference calls, and client interactions.

Must-Have Competencies :

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese interpretation and translation.
- Extensive experience handling customer meetings, conference calls, and customer visits.
- Excellent ability to understand and accurately interpret customer requirements.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and listening skills.
- Ability to facilitate smooth and effective communication between customers and the organization.

Positive-to-Have Skills :

- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage timelines effectively.
- Strong Japanese email-writing skills.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1.



Understand and accurately interpret discussions during customer meetings, conference calls, and other business interactions.
2. Provide clear and accurate interpretation and translation from Japanese to English and English to Japanese.
3. Facilitate seamless communication between Japanese-speaking customers and internal teams.
4. Understand customer requirements and communicate them accurately to relevant stakeholders.
5. Handle basic business communication and emails in Japanese.
6. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support effective customer communication.
7. Support customer visits, meetings, and conferences as required.
8. Be willing to travel to various TCS/client locations across India for meetings, conferences, and business requirements.
