Job Summary

Welcare Hospital is looking for a skilled and responsible Senior Executive – IT with 3 years of relevant experience to manage and maintain the hospital's IT infrastructure, network, hardware, software, hospital information systems, and cybersecurity. The candidate will ensure smooth and uninterrupted IT operations, provide technical support to hospital staff, and maintain the reliability, security, and availability of hospital IT systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the hospital's IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, network connectivity, and internet-related issues.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware, software, operating systems, and applications.




- Provide technical support for hospital applications, including HIMS/HMS, DMS, PACS, and other integrated healthcare systems.
- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of CCTV, biometric attendance, access control, and related technology systems.
- Perform regular data backups and assist with data recovery and disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain antivirus, firewall, user access controls, and other IT security measures.
- Create and manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and system access according to departmental requirements.
- Coordinate with software vendors, hardware suppliers, internet service providers, and other service partners for issue resolution.
- Support the implementation, configuration, testing, and integration of new IT systems and hospital technology projects.
- Maintain IT asset records, software licenses, AMC details, service records, and technical documentation.
- Respond promptly to IT support requests from doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and other hospital departments.
- Conduct basic IT training and awareness sessions for hospital employees.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient information and other sensitive hospital data.
- Follow hospital IT policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and applicable data protection and cybersecurity requirements.
- Monitor system performance, identify recurring technical issues, and recommend improvements to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.
- Perform other IT-related duties assigned by the IT Manager or hospital management.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant technical certifications will be an added advantage.
