- Lead and execute risk-based internal audits across business functions and operational processes.

- Drive audit planning, fieldwork reviews, stakeholder discussions, and final audit reporting.
- Conduct opening and closing meetings with senior business stakeholders.
- Strengthen risk governance through risk register management and operational risk framework enhancement.
- Develop actionable recommendations to improve process efficiency, control effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and track audit observations through successful closure and remediation.
- Lead audit automation initiatives using advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools.
- Mentor audit team members, ensure quality assurance standards, and manage multiple concurrent audit assignments.

The Successful Applicant

Experience - Typically 10-15+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, or related functions.

- Prior experience in financial services,



insurance, banking, or regulated industries preferred.
- Proven track record of leading audit engagements and managing teams.

Education - Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or MBA from a reputed institution.

Technical

Skills - Strong understanding of internal audit methodologies, risk assessment, and control frameworks.

- Experience with audit automation and data analytics tools.
- Exposure to Databricks, SAS, Python, AI-based audit techniques, or similar platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI. Leadership & Behavioural Competencies - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards with a strong focus on governance and accountability.
