About the Role:

We are looking for an IT Executive on a freelance basis to manage IT operations, provide technical support to employees, and maintain a secure and reliable IT workplace. The role requires hands-on experience with macOS systems, network troubleshooting, IT asset management, and endpoint security. You will also help strengthen data protection practices and support the organisation’s progress toward ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance.

What You’ll Do

- Manage and maintain Mac devices, including system configurations, software installations, updates, and security settings.
- Install and manage endpoint protection solutions across company devices to safeguard against security threats.
- Manage network security and access controls to prevent unauthorised access to company systems, devices, and files.
- Set up and maintain secure data storage and backup systems.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, network connectivity,



hardware, software, and other technical issues across the office.
- Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets, including laptops, monitors, and peripherals, along with records of allocation, returns, repairs, and replacements.
- Monitor potential security risks and support the resolution of IT and information security incidents.
- Ensure IT practices align with applicable data protection requirements and internal security policies.
- Maintain documentation of IT processes, asset records, access permissions, and security controls.
- Support the development of information security policies and processes, and help prepare the organisation for SOC 2 compliance.

What We’re Looking For

- 2–4 years of experience in IT support, IT administration, or a similar role.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with macOS devices and Apple-based IT environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Mac systems, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity.
- Working knowledge of network security, routers, firewalls, and access management.
- Familiarity with endpoint protection, device security, and software patch management.
- Experience in IT asset management, inventory tracking, and documentation.
- Understanding of data protection, secure storage, and backup practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support employees with day-to-day technical issues.
