Role Overview The HR Manager Talent Acquisition will own recruitment for Ascends frontline and field organization, with the majority of hiring across Sales and Collections. The role requires a hands-on recruitment leader who can manage high-volume hiring across multiple cities, build robust sourcing channels, drive hiring TAT and joining conversion, and lead a team of recruiters. The candidate must have strong experience in bulk/high-volume recruitment of field staff or frontline employees across multiple locations.

What you'll own

- Own end-to-end recruitment for frontline Sales and Collections roles across existing and new geographies.

- Drive bulk/high-volume hiring for field staff across multiple cities and locations while maintaining hiring quality and turnaround time.

- Lead, manage, and develop the recruitment team; allocate requirements, set recruiter-wise targets, and conduct regular performance reviews.

- Work closely with Sales and Collections leadership to understand manpower plans, replacement requirements, expansion hiring, and priority positions.

- Build scalable sourcing channels through job portals, referrals, local consultants, field sourcing, walk-in drives, recruitment camps, and other relevant channels.

- Plan and execute city-wise hiring drives for high-volume frontline roles and ensure adequate candidate pipelines for recurring requirements.

- Own the recruitment funnel from sourcing and screening through interviews, selection, offer rollout, documentation follow-up, and joining.

- Track hiring metrics including open positions, ageing, time-to-hire, source productivity, selection ratio, offer-to-join ratio, recruiter productivity, and joining conversion.

- Reduce candidate drop-offs and improve offer-to-join conversion through structured follow-ups and pre-joining engagement.

- Build location-wise talent pools and maintain a ready pipeline for critical Sales and Collections positions.

- Ensure recruiters and hiring managers follow defined selection criteria, interview processes,



documentation requirements, and recruitment SOPs.

- Use recruitment data and MIS to identify bottlenecks, improve sourcing effectiveness, and forecast manpower closure timelines.

What we're looking for

- 3 - 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment, with strong exposure to high-volume or bulk hiring.

- Must have hands-on experience recruiting frontline/field employees, preferably Sales and Collections staff, across multiple cities or locations.

- Strong preference for candidates from NBFC, lending, fintech, vehicle finance, microfinance, BFSI, field-sales, collections, or other businesses with large distributed field teams.

- Proven experience managing and driving performance of a recruitment team.

- Solid understanding of bulk sourcing channels and the ability to build candidate pipelines beyond conventional job portals.

- Experience managing multiple open requirements simultaneously with clear prioritization and closure ownership.

- Comfortable working with recruitment MIS, Excel, dashboards, and funnel metrics.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work closely with business leaders and field managers.

- Good communication in English and Hindi, with strong coordination, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive hiring targets and changing manpower requirements

Preferred Background

- Candidates who have managed bulk hiring for distributed field teams in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.

- Candidates with experience hiring Sales Executives, Collection Executives, Team Leads, Branch Managers, Territory Managers, or similar field roles.

- Candidates who have built or improved recruitment processes, sourcing channels, recruiter productivity, or offer-to-join conversion at scale.
