Designation : AGM/DGM Solar O&M; (Zonal Head - HO)

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership & Performance Management

- Lead the Operations & Maintenance activities for the assigned solar portfolio.
- Ensure achievement of Generation, PR, CUF, Plant Availability, and other operational KPIs.
- Monitor Daily Generation Reports (DGR), Monthly Performance Reports (MPR), and plant performance dashboards.
- Identify performance gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure optimum plant reliability, availability, and operational excellence.

2. Departmental Leadership & Strategic Support

- Participate in business planning, performance reviews, and cross-functional decision-making to enhance operational efficiency and asset performance.
- Provide leadership, technical guidance, and governance to site teams, ensuring consistent execution of O&M; policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support organizational priorities and ensure timely execution of key business initiatives.

3. Technical Excellence & Asset Reliability

- Ensure reliable operation of PV systems, Inverters, HT/LT systems, Switchyards, Transformers, Transmission Lines, Tackers, Robots and BoP equipment.
- Review RCA & CAPA for critical failures.
- Ensure timely preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Improve equipment reliability and asset life cycle.

4. Performance Analytics & Digital O&M;

- Benchmark KPIs including Generation, PR, CUF, Losses, Plant Availability, Auxiliary Consumption, etc.
- Utilize SCADA, CMS, CMMS, and analytics platforms for performance monitoring.
- Identify trends, recurring failures, and optimization opportunities.
- Drive digitalization and automation initiatives.

5. Grid Coordination & Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with Grid Code, CEA, CERC, SERC, SLDC, RLDC, REMC, CTU, and STU requirements.
- Coordinate Forecasting & Scheduling (F&S;), DSM, outage approvals, and reactive power management.
- Ensure timely statutory reporting and regulatory compliance.

6. Safety,



Setting & Risk Management

- Drive a Zero Harm safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO, electrical safety, and statutory safety requirements.
- Lead incident investigations and risk mitigation.
- Conduct safety audits and emergency preparedness drills.

7. Team Leadership & Capability Development

- Lead and mentor zonal O&M; teams.
- Develop technical capabilities through structured training.
- Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

8. Budgeting & Cost Optimization

- Prepare annual O&M; budgets.
- Optimize OPEX and maintenance costs.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower and resources.
- Participate in financial performance reviews.

9. Vendor, Contract & Spare Management

- Manage OEMs, contractors, AMCs, and service providers.
- Monitor SLA/KPI performance.
- Oversee warranty claims and contract execution.
- Develop critical spare strategies and inventory optimization.

10. Stakeholder Management & Coordination

- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Finance, HR, Commercial, Insurance, and other departments.
- Liaise with utilities, OEMs, EPC contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Present operational updates and management reports.

11. Audit, Documentation & Quality Systems

- Prepare sites for internal and external audits.
- Maintain statutory records and O&M; documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Support management reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education Qualification

- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized university.
- MBA (Operations/Power Management) will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in utility-scale Solar Power Plant Operations & Maintenance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading multi-site or zonal O&M; operations.
- Hands-on experience with HV/EHV systems, SCADA, Grid Operations, Performance Analytics, Regulatory Compliance, and Team Management
