Key responsibilities

- Own system requirements, functional decomposition, architecture and cross-discipline interface definitions.

- Translate Product requirements into measurable technical requirements and performance budgets.

- Define throughput, latency, availability, recovery, fault-handling and interface expectations.

- Own interface control documents across Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, NIDO OS and external/customer systems.

- Lead technical risk analysis/FMEA at system level and drive closure with discipline owners.

- Define verification intent and acceptance criteria with Reliability & Validation.

- Chair system architecture/design reviews for major product/NPD work.





- Support Solution Design on non-standard application feasibility without becoming the proposal team.

Experience & qualifications

- 1218+ years in multidisciplinary engineered systems; direct systems architecture/requirements experience essential.

- Solid understanding across mechanical, electrical, controls and software interfaces without needing to be the deepest specialist in each.

- Experience with requirements management, FMEA, interface control, V-model/V&V; or equivalent disciplined systems methods.

- Experience with throughput/performance modelling and fault/recovery design is valuable.
