Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head – Operations to lead end-to-end operations, including engineering, design, procurement, manufacturing, project execution, erection, commissioning, and customer handover. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in project-based manufacturing, capital equipment, and turnkey industrial projects, with a focus on timely delivery, quality, cost control, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end execution of custom-built batching plants, solid material handling systems, and turnkey projects.
- Coordinate engineering, design, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and site execution teams.
- Ensure project schedule adherence, capacity planning, and effective resource allocation.
- Drive manufacturing productivity, quality, operational efficiency, and cost control.
- Monitor project costing, profit margins, material availability, and execution risks.
- Handle critical customer complaints, commissioning challenges, and project recovery plans.
- Manage vendor performance, procurement activities, and long-lead materials.
- Implement process standardization, productivity improvements, and rework reduction.
- Lead operational managers, production teams, engineers, and site execution personnel.
- Establish operational KPIs/KRAs and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Ensure quality standards, statutory compliance, and safety across manufacturing facilities and project sites.
- Take ownership of the complete project lifecycle, from order handover to customer satisfaction and after-sales service.

Required Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- 20+ years of relevant qualified experience, including significant operations leadership responsibility.
- Strong experience in batching plants, solid material handling, capital equipment, industrial machinery, automation, or turnkey projects.
- Proven background in custom-engineered equipment and project-based manufacturing.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, project execution, site installation, erection, and commissioning.
- Good commercial acumen in project costing, profitability, margin management, and operational expenses.
- Proven ability to manage managers, engineers, production teams, and site personnel.
