GS Executive - Vasai

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized GS Executive to manage the day-to-day operations of the General Stores department. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in stores or warehouse operations within a cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment. The role involves inventory management, material issuance, stock maintenance, documentation, and coordination with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of general store materials, consumables, and

engineering items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels in the ERP system.
- Ensure timely material issuance to Production, Maintenance, Admin, and other

departments.
- Perform Goods Receipt (GRN) and verify materials against purchase orders and invoices.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward material movements.
- Monitor minimum and reorder stock levels and coordinate with Procurement for

replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage practices, labeling, and housekeeping in the stores area.
- Coordinate with vendors and transporters for timely receipt of materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly inventory and stock reports.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and inventory control procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and inventory

records.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of store and inventory management processes.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic reporting).
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Graduate in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or any relevant discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory management

in a cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing company.
- Experience in ERP-based inventory management is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience handling general stores, consumables, maintenance spares, and indirect

materials.
- Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
- Robust organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in inventory
