CompanyRole: Data Hub Geologist / Geophysicist / Petrophysicist
Essential Requirements
- Experience: 6+ years in an E&P; (Exploration & Production) or oil & gas service company.
- Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Geology, Geophysics, or Petrophysics.
- Solid domain expertise in oil & gas and related scientific technologies.
- Experience working with complex, large datasets and solving data-related challenges.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Immediate availability is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop data-driven solutions for oil & gas challenges.
- Provide real-time technical support and incident investigation.
- Work with clients to understand challenges and recommend solutions.
- Support technical design, quality assurance,
and process optimization.
- Manage project objectives, priorities, milestones, and multiple projects.
- Explore emerging technologies and innovative products/services.
- Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to technical publications and research initiatives.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong hands-on experience in Geology, Geophysics, or Petrophysics.
- Experience with software such as Petrel, Techlog, or Studio.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, scripting, and AI/ML.
- Client-facing communication and technical problem-solving experience.
- Research, publications, or innovation experience is an added advantage.
