Role & Responsibilities

- Perform routine and complex general surgical procedures including laparoscopic and open abdominal, breast, hernia, and emergency surgeries.
- Lead pre-op assessments, intra-op decision-making, and post-op recovery protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with anesthesia, nursing, and critical care teams to manage surgical workflows and emergency case prioritization.
- Document surgical cases, maintain accurate operative notes, and adhere to hospital compliance and infection control standards.




- Supervise and mentor junior surgical residents and medical officers during procedures and ward rounds.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to trauma, acute abdomen, and surgical emergencies within hospital protocols.

Skills & Qualifications

- Must-Have
- MBBS
- MS General Surgery
- Valid MCI/NMC Registration
- ACLS Certified
- Proficient in Laparoscopic Surgery
- Experience in Emergency General Surgery
- Knowledge of Hospital Infection Control Protocols
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

- Preferred

- fellowship in Surgical Oncology or GI Surgery
- Experience with Robotic-Assisted Surgery
- Training in Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
