The General Manager – Project Management will take full ownership of delivering the LICL PB coal mine project in Jharkhand, end to end. The mandate is delivery on time, to quality standards, within budget, and with zero unsafe incidents. The role carries responsibility for project strategy, planning, execution, contractor and client management, and financial control.

It also covers statutory compliance and building strong relationships with the client, consultants, authorities, and local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, procurement, and cost control.
- Drive EHS, quality, risk, and statutory compliance.
- Manage client, consultant, contractor, and government authority interfaces.




- Lead large multidisciplinary site teams and ensure effective project governance.
- Monitor project performance through EVM, SPI, CPI, and progress reporting.
- Oversee contract administration, claims, invoicing, and commercial performance.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering; PMP or equivalent certification preferred. MBA is an added advantage.
- 20+ years of experience in large EPC projects, preferably in coal mining, mining infrastructure, or heavy infrastructure.
- Proven leadership in project execution, planning, cost control, contract management, and stakeholder management.
- Solid leadership, decision-making, communication, and safety-first mindset.
