Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Garment Merchandiser to manage the end-to-end merchandising process, from order receipt and sampling to production coordination and final shipment. The candidate should have a valuable understanding of garment manufacturing, buyer coordination, costing, sampling, production follow-ups, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with buyers and clients to understand order requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules.

- Manage the complete merchandising process, including order execution, sampling, approvals, production follow-ups, and shipment coordination.

- Prepare and maintain order sheets, cost sheets, purchase orders, and production tracking reports.

- Coordinate with design, sampling, sourcing, production, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth order execution.

- Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories, and other raw materials required for production.

- Ensure timely submission and approval of samples, lab dips, fit samples, size sets, and pre-production samples, as applicable.

- Monitor production progress and ensure orders are completed within the committed timelines.

- Coordinate with the quality team to ensure garments meet buyer specifications and quality standards.





- Track order status, identify delays, and take corrective action in coordination with relevant departments.

- Maintain buyer communication, merchandising records, and order documentation.

- Support costing, consumption calculations, price negotiations, and margin analysis.

- Coordinate with the accounts and dispatch teams regarding invoicing, shipment documentation, and order closure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Graduate in Fashion Technology, Textile Technology, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field; relevant experience may also be considered.

- 3–5 years of experience in garment merchandising or apparel manufacturing.

- Good understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, sampling, and production processes.

- Knowledge of garment costing, order management, and production planning.

- Strong coordination, communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and merchandising reports.

- Ability to manage multiple orders and meet strict delivery deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
