Tapnplay is a Bengaluru-based mobile game studio focused on hybrid-casual and puzzle games, with 60M+ downloads and three US chart-topping titles.

We're looking for a Game Designer to build our next hybrid-casual puzzle hit with us. Someone who can turn promising ideas into compelling gameplay, take ownership from concept to playable build, and sweat the details that make a game great.

What You'll Do

- Own level design end-to-end, building a progression curve that feels intuitive, challenging, and rewarding.
- Design and prototype core gameplay mechanics, taking concepts from the initial idea to a playable Unity build.
- Build games with solid fundamentals: clear goals, meaningful decisions, satisfying feedback, and well-defined fail conditions.
- Polish the experience, from game feel and pacing to sound, feedback, and moment-to-moment interactions.
- Work directly with developers and artists to build, test, and iterate on concepts quickly.
- Study successful mobile games to identify promising mechanics, understand why they work, and develop original concepts with market potential.

What We're Looking For

- 3–5 years of mobile game design experience,



preferably in puzzle or hybrid-casual games.
- Demonstrated ownership of level design for at least one shipped mobile game.
- Proven ability to design balanced, well-paced, and engaging levels.
- Hands-on proficiency in Unity, including the ability to build and iterate on playable prototypes.
- Solid instincts for difficulty progression, player behaviour, game feel, and pacing.
- The ability to look beyond an interesting mechanic and recognise whether it can become a compelling, marketable game.
- A genuine passion for playing, analysing, and deconstructing mobile games.
- Clear communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
